Van Impe and the New World Order

I've heard it said that Alexander the Great saw himself in the prophecies of Daniel as the 'big he-goat from the west', and then went out to fulfill the prophecy. Likewise, could our President be seeing himself as a fulfillment of the future king and president of the new global government predicted in Revelation?





Our President made a 'secret' deal with the Russians to reduce Nuclear weapons. Are we then surprised Russia turns around to sign arms deals with Iran, supplying them with weapons necessary to destroy Israel? Russia plays an important role in Ezekiel 38-39 in the Gog and Magog War that will preclude the tribulation.

In Revelation 17:10, the Bible teaches that there will be 7 world empires--the last of which is the new world order of an international global government, and the dictator that arises will have control over all kindreds, peoples, and nations. He is called the king, one who has a fierce and stern countenance and devours the world.

Van Impe makes the suggestion that the President may think that he is the fulfillment of this prophecy.
